Thanks once again for this lovely song. I haven't heard this earlier. Excellent and typical Raja melody. As ananth says, Bavadharini sounds so young. It will be nice to have a good quality rendition of this song.

My own feeling of this thread is to use it to discover newer songs. So if you find a song, which is not oft heard, and it becomes a song of the day/moment, let it be here. I honestly don't know the background of this thread but I have come here mainly to check out the rare songs recommended by fellow IR fans.

The one song I discovered recently and goes with the topic of kuthu songs, is available here

Check out 'Anne Anne' (it is given as Anna Anna in the site). (I heard this movie, 'Kaadal Jaadi' was not released.) Gives you an idea of what a 'pettai' kuthu paatu should be like. I laughed out loud, both due to the music and the lyrics. We can have an idea of what Myskin would have got had he wanted a kuthu song from Raja in his movie by listening to this song.

Thanks for linking kAthal jAthi. That kuththu song is excellent! And the female version of Enna MaRanthAlum was sung by Mahathi, her first playback song (the site says unknown).
