Spring Dosai : mixed veg dosai chinese style
Heat oil & add 1 med onion, thinly sliced. Now add in a mix of shredded vegs(carrot,cabbage)-2 cups,capsicum-thin strips- 1 large. if u have, u can add some bean sprouts-1/2 cup & they give a nice crunch to the dish. Stir on high heat for a min or so. Add soya sauce-2 tsp, szechuan sauce-3 tsp, pepper pwd-1/2 tsp,salt,sugar-a pinch.Mix well. Add spring onions-5,chopped with the bulb, stir to mix well & take off flame.
Spread the dosa batter to make thin dosai. Place the stuffing in the middle of the dosai & fold both sides to make it like a roll.
U can cut it into 3 pieces for easy handling.
Serve hot. U an eat it as such.
Note: if u don't have szechuan sauce, u can add chilli-gar sauce & lil vinegar but there'll be some diff in taste.
Thinking of adding Thinai in my diet... much more nutritious than rice...
what is thinai? ( pardon my ignorance)
