There are chances that Thala would have been made aware of the stealing. He would have known that it would land him in trouble and lead to unnecessary controversies. What is the difference? Please educate me. A remake is called a freemake if it does not acknowledge the writer. At least in the second instance there is the stolen script and one has to work atleast a little to present it well on screen with the unkown factor of how it will turn out. But a freemake? Something has already succeeded. Using it over again and you have the advantage of changing things that do not work. And above all the audacity to tell 'no this is not a remake'. This is not with reference to Aegan. But for all the freemakes that Tamil Industry has done.Quote:

We might ask why didn't Gopi, a director, not register his story in the Writer's association etc etc. really don't know why didn't he do this....though it is outright foolish of him he should have been careful of ARM when he was narrating the bodhidharman history to ARM for 7am Arivu and then a story for Kaththi....lucky for Vijay who might have told ARM to give him a hit and not involve in this story controversy so that he can wash his hands safely and enjoy the success....had this movie flopped then this Gopi for sure wouldn't claim otherwise there will eyebrows raised... :lol:
we can't expect Ajith to solve this issue as some of the hubbers point out...Ajith from day one has clearly told that he is an actor by profession....if he helps he will surely help,.....not sure if Gopi asked for Ajith's help but he must told it is his story.....the only best thing Ajith could have done was to act under Gopi's direction but that again will be a controversy....Ajith doesn't want to involve himself anything controversially....he might have advised ARM if he is close otherwise he wouldn't think of pulling down ARM because it is not in Ajith's nature and also ARM was introduced because of Ajith....
yeppadi paarthaallum Ajith would have dealt this issue very personally and professionally..not to hurt anyone at the same time not involve into controversies....hats off to Ajith...

The ace director says he has a tailor-made role for the top Tamil star
Kaththi is still raking the moolah, but director Murugadoss, the man with Midas Touch, is not one to rest on his laurels. The director is all set to helm his next big project with superstar Ajith in the lead. Murugadoss is perhaps the most-sought-after director in Kollywood these days. This year alone, he has delivered two mega hits - Holiday (Hindi version of Thuppakki) and Kaththi. Most of the producers and actors are queuing up before the director for a project, but the fact remains that Murugadoss always picks the actors he wants to work with and Ajith tops his list now.
Trade sources indicate that Murugadoss is keen on working with Ajith in 2015 and leading banners are ready to lap it up. The director too recently confirmed about his next project. "I have a tailor-made role for him (Ajith). I am waiting for his call... The project will take off soon," Murugadoss said, refusing to reveal details about the project. The production banner expected to take up this project is also not known yet.
Ajith is busy wrapping up Yennai Arindhaal, an action movie being directed by Gautham Menon. The movie has Anushka Shetty and Trisha Krishna playing female leads. He is expected to commence shooting for his next movie to be directed by Siruthai Siva. However, it is not clear whether he will take up Siva's flick or Murugadoss's first.
Apparently, Murugadoss had narrated the script to Ajith earlier this year and they had agreed to work in it in 2015 as both were busy with their commitments this year. Ajith and Murugadoss have been friends for more than two decades and not many know that the star had helped the director in his initial days. In fact, Murugadoss's debut movie (Dheena) as a director was with Ajith. For many years, Murugadoss had been an assistant to another well-known director S J Surya. It was Surya, who helped Murugadoss put together Dheena, which was a moderate hit.
"Since then Murugadoss has been longing to direct a movie for Ajith. Unfortunately, it did not materialise because of various reasons. Now, the time has come for them to join hands. We are expecting a blockbuster, which will go on the floors during the first quarter of 2015," said a trade tracker, based in Chennai.
We hear that Murugadoss has already commenced the pre-production work on the untitled project.
Hipefully Thala helps him out of this disaster.
