Favorite Scenes/Songs from THALAIVAR Rajini films #3

Great entertainer movie! My favorite songs are the ones Nerd mentioned too. I love the Pallavi song a lot! Vaa Vaa Vaa song was such a great hit in those days, but to me, it's such a boring/dragging song. I prefer pretty much all the other songs in this movie to that one... :oops:

:shock: Thought it's liked by all Rajini fans. And non-Rajini fans, at least for thanga thalaivi Amala (she's got "some" moves man!). Why Bay, because of some taboo stories on that song shoot?

I like the Namak Halal songs better

1) pag gungroo bandh
2) thOdi si jo pi li hai
3) aaj rapat jaaayE (rain song featuring Smita Patil - indhiya cinemavil idhu oru kalaachaara mile kal)
4) raat baaki - fantasticism
5) jawani jaane man

Well, that song for me, it's just slow, or because it has 3 stanzas, or I don't know, or can't explain. I usually just wait for it to end! :oops:

Seems the year started with stylish urban/mafia movie "BILLA" and ended with mass movie set in rural milieu.....

As much as I like Bachchan here, that song has some embarrassing moments, as some of the moves looked completely unsuited to him. No chemistry with Smita, there's something wrong here. :oops:

Oh the poor dear Smitha was so lost. I thought that was what the song's cult status is all about. :P

If anything is wrong, it is with Amit-ji.

Smita's awesomeness is such that despite the thaNdA thaNdA pAni reaction of Amit-ji, she still managed to rev-up the sequence.
