Suvai nga, thanks for the nice post.
I just added "pottukadadalai" for a change.
You can even add roasted groundnuts in the
end as a garnish. Thanks, Kugan98
Suvai nga and Dev, potato chops na, is mashed potato made into patties, or they have fillings.
What you ate in Sudhama's house must be a
potato masala. They named it as potato chops I think
Well Suvai nga has given a recipe.
I too have one given by my North Indian friend.
Let me try both and post the pictures.
Dev ,you can see how the recipe looks like,
or it is entirely a different recipe.
Thanks, Kugan98
[tscii]This dish was served in Singapore in my relative's house.

Hi Dev / k
Potato chops romba padu paduthudhu pola.
yes. Dev did not have lunch. If only she was there for lunch, should would have easily clarified.
This was something like senaikizhangu masala curry.
It was thick slices of one inch with masala coated (with onion, garlic and other masalas) in brown colour. This only the caterer calls as potato chops.
Thanks Dev and Sudha.

then in a pan, pour oil, onions, basic masalas like red chilly pdr, coriander pdr, curry powder and the fried potato strips i think.
this can be done in potato, chenaikilagu, tapico, tender jackfruit.
