Panakkaran, is one my favorite "masala" movies of Thalaiver! When it comes to P. Vasu, it is my favorite too! I have seen all of P. Vasu - Rajini movies in the theatres, but I don't think I have seen the response that Panakkaran got for the others, not even Mannan! My list will go like this: Panakkaran, Mannan, CM, and Uzhaipaali (I just hated Uzhaipaali)... :oops:

Nothing beats Mannan IMO...
Have watched it more than 7 times in theatre during its release time. Have even watched it in Telugu (dubbed version after the success of Baatsha)..

How come every time MM gets a vote Thalapathy also gets equal no of votes ???

UzaippaaLi is the only original one, while rest of them all are remakes... Some one needs to compile list of original movies of Rajini - my guess is most of them will be in the very early days...

Let's not run the risk of underrating Thalapathi. It's definitely among the best films of RK.

It's eminently re-watchable.

Worker has a major deterrent in Rose but VictoryPeace in King, especially in that "Cold is Beating" song is quite horrendous!

Agree , but some how I feel his acting was excellent in MM, arul irunthu 60 varai, engeyo keata kural compared to Thalapathy 8-)
