irir123,
Read a small snippet in 'Kumudam' that Nandalala may be shelved and IR was angry with Myskin. Given that it is Kumudam I am not sure how truthful it is.

Isn't Nandalala film already completed? I thought it was just a matter of releasing it. Why they (makers of Nandalala) will decide to shelve the film when it is already completed?
thanks,

Krish,
I too thought the same way but the new snippet clearly said that Myskin has told Illayaraja the film is 'dropped'!! I just hope that someone could release the BGM, which was supposed to be the highlight of the movie and for which artists came from Hungary!!
Oh ic. Probably the producers can afford to waste the money spent on the movie.
Anyway, lets hope otherwise and movie and/or the BGM gets released.
thanks,
Krishnan

Hulk,
I read this in the mag which was probably a week or two old. So this seems to be about the completed film and not the 'not started' one.
How can a "completed" film be "dropped"? Hereafter, is it not with the producer to do whatever he wants?
Also, the songs got released (and some are awesome). So practically not much damage done to people who follow IR's music.
It's really funny to see TF field where a supposedly successful director, after two consecutive hits, is struggling to get his 3rd one released.
Music got released and is good. Even BGM got completed (which is possibly toward the end of production, means ready to release).
Is the movie so bad that there are no buyers? Can't believe that as there are a dozen horrible ones that get released each month, some with even unknown names.
Possibly priced too high that people are waiting for a "sale".
