Very Sad!!!
Chandramugi is going to be a great disappointment for Rajini Fans. Just came back from 1730 hrs show in Singapore. Exact remake of Manichitrathazhu, starring Mohanlal. Rajini has tried his best to fit in the story and impress.....sadly and simply no scope in screenplay for Rajini the SuperStar.....P.Vasu and gang need to be hanged for wasting away another rare chance to use Rajini to his full and proper potential......sure flop.....
I agree that the price is high but for those in UK and USa , I want to remind them that the Western world is built around 'brand names' and "franchises' and the same T-Shirt which costs $6 will be sold for 26.95 if it carries Tommy Hilfigre's name and may be more if it represents a local University which has won the NCAA championship recently.
My friend is running a Screen Printing shop and got the order for 25000 T-Shirts following UNC's National College championship last week and were sold for $20 while the actual cost was less than $6!!
What I am trying to say is these kind of price hike for brand names is common here and nothing to be lamented about.
You must also remember that Aingaran must have paid a higher price for a fewer prints for CM and he has tobreak even within his means before seeing any profit.
In fact, my other Friend, Chuck Chockalingam who is a US distributor for Tamil movies [he is releasing ME for your info!] always tells me that movies like Padaiyappa and CM are the life sources for them, not to make a profit but to offset past losses from all those other crap movies!
So, just enjoy the show and lets all have a good time!
Go CM!
Go ME!
Go sachib!
Go SevvEl !!
sachin!!not sachib!! Typo!
