As for Bhanumathi being a competitor and not a pair, is not the art of acting the chief asset of a film artiste? A rival is also a 'pair', a peer in this matter. I am wondering too. If Padhmini I beg to differ. She had her fair share of moments of humour, tension with NT, not necessarily crying all the time.
