In Maha Nadigan, he'd tease an actress on how they will all endup in TV, then she retorts that he would too. He'd make a great host. Sorry to say this, but most of our hosts (Tamizh programs) plain suck, repeating same crap day in and day out. SR's improvisational skills can keep the show alive.Quote:

Had the misfortune of watching him host that stupid game show. He was terrible. He would not just shut up and kept on laughing for no apparent reason and in fact was keen on setting an example of how not to host a game show. Actually it's not bad. HR, you would like this, with the Manivannan-esque political stuff in it. Karan is the lite-shorter version of Ammavasai, to be tiruttified by IAS officer Sathyaraj. Managed to sit through the entire film, so it's not terrible not great either. Would have entirely different stuff if Manivannan and Annan was in it.

Sun TV. Yeah, SR sarakku thirnthupochu. Age is catching up, and his kinda talent is becoming obsolete. A scene in this film talks about actors with political ambition, and then actors like SR, and he himself put himself down saying that any offer with money he'd run with it. Antha nelama vanthachu. Aduttathu, like his crack in Mahanadigan, TV serial-theyn.
Interested with his role in Nanban though.

was watching "ThaAi Maaman" Yesterday for about 1 hour.. Superb entertainer. Sathyaraj and Gounder are the best comedy combo IMO.. Movie is a laugh riot prior to SR becoming MLA ..
