Kogile seems like Suddha Dhanyasi. It has IR written all over it. a very typical IR suddha dhanyasi.Quote:

Iam not used to This current onslaught by Raaja with albums releasing like a continuos stream.
Just in the first hearing
Rangu rangu: has 80's written all over it. It seems like a rehash of some telugu songs of the 80's (Definitely not Geethanjali). It is like eating the Paradise biriyani, though the taste remains same over the years, feels fresh each time you eat :)
Hodadavane: Seems Raaja is all set to take on the GenX. Same smile as with the songs of 'Valmiki' was there in my face when the song started. interludes and the charanams are :notworthy:
Meethi songs ketkavae venaam ippothaikku :)
RS,
Your are spot on with the Paradise Biryani comparison. I have been eating there since ages and even now it feels fresh.
It's true that this year has been an onslaught as far as Raja is concerned and I am loving it :)
Nan Kadavul to Prem Kahani = 8 albums. And each album had its own wonderful songs. Absolutely phenomenal.Quote:

Relistening to Hodadavane. Ivalo naalum 'Perisu' summa vedikkai paathuttu irunthirukku intha chinna pasanga velaiyatellam  It has everything to become a permanent bar song :)
 I've listened to this atleast 4-5 times till now. Apart from Tune and the orchestrational brilliance this & the Instrumentation part is something very new from Raaja for me. For instance the Whistle coming in second charanam is unlikely for a Raaja composition. May be few more listens will take me to a path which Raaja has treaded already like 'Sing Swing' of moodupani.Quote:

Yup and kai veesi. There is a extremely catchy rhythm flow in the tune and song. :D
Hodedavne is becoming my favourite. Really unexpected and something which shows thalaivar could probably do a hip hop movie if someone gives him a chance.
