tac,
Thanks for your kind words. Yes, it is more Madurai Centric and to a certain extent Chennai is also covered. Reason being we belong to Madurai and know the Madurai facts for sure. Another reason is this data is supplied by Madurai fans and as I told you on the other day, your area people [Kamarajar Salai Arasamaram area] had given these data and naturally Madurai records will be prominent.
Now coming to your specific queries, though Enga Mama and Enga Oor Raja deserve to be 100 days movies, unfortunately they are not. I have checked up this with Raghavendar Sir and one of my cousins and both confirmed the same. It was more due to the continous releases.
Regarding the joint Mandrams, I am sorry, I have not heard or seen such joint activities of any sort and I very much doubt if such things existed. On a personal level, the fans might have talked like this but I don't think any posters or banners ever came out.
While I wrote about Sri Devi's record, I too remember Saradhaa mentioning about Tiruchy - Prabhat. But we are not very sure about the same.
While Karnan was running at Madurai - Central (Sep middle), I was there and had visited the theatre.
Yes, as per your wish, I will write about 1972 under the heading suggested by you.
Regards
