Thaalaattum Kaatre is one of the beautiful modern (read as post 2000) songs by IR. I like the charanams a lot. the string section playing a counter melody is awesome.

Agree with raagas on the counter melody in the charanams. Very well done. I had accidentally discovered this song in thiraipaadal some days back. Hadn't heard it when the film was released. (Was it released? I guess it was)

tvsankar, didnt say that. I like Aa Gaya Sapna Koi Sach Banke very much. Kiliye Kiliye is in a similar genre, and has similar structure avlo dhaan sonnaen.

Hearing "ThoLin meedhu saaya" for the first time and Iam simply enjoying the wild side of the young Raja with KJY and SJ providing the apt vocal support . Such a jackass guitar and beats !!! Sure can give today's rehashed dance songs a big run
