Excellent climax.. I liked Morgan Freeman's performance.Quote:

Pace was fast, acting all around was good.Graham Greene  for the screen play.
Jackie Brown:QT :cool2: .Enjoyed the smart, colourful, expletive ridden dialogues and for the first time the songs in an English movie.Samual Jackson was excellent as Ordell Robbie and so was Pam grier(who is she?) in the title role. The guy who played Max cherry(Robert Forster) also was impressive.
The only disappointment was Robert De Niro in a role which I felt was underwhelming.
Heh! Cinefan DeNiro angled really hard for Forster's role when QT was casting but was turned down!
Caught Ironman 2. It was fun while it lasted. Plays realllly well to the geek gallery!
About deniro's part in Jackie Brown, from an earlier discussion..

To say nobody else could have done it that way except him is hypothetical.
OF course, somebody else would have nailed it. Someone in the stature of Deniro doing such a tiny part is sacrilege to me, too. But Deniro wanted to act in as many movies as he could (as he was building TribeCa complex and film festival), he signed for QT's film with Weinstein company (who have produced all QT films) And they also had a much-publicized payment tussle while doing that film. Apparently, Deniro shouted at QT on-set, for not getting paid. A recently leaked telephone conversation between QT and Harvey Weinstein (who I hate for shuffling around Scorsese like old-school studio mogul)
 News to me. Also learned about Midnight Run 2. Ippo ulla nelamaiyila, athu Midnight Stroll-a-taan irukka mudiyum. But then, in Righteous Kill De Niro looked, say, about 15 years younger.Quote:
