PS tamby, this Singapore noodles will be bland in taste.
You know normally they will give you a hot chillie sambal, made with prawn paste called "belachan" in our language.
For other types of meehoon, we will add chillie paste in oil, along with the smashed garlic and onions.
Thats what our NM has told. (she is a Malaysian :o )
You can even add chillie paste along with this Singapore noodles.
Our mamak mee (noodles) also has a paste of its own for the oomph.
