Here is the panner pulao recipe. Kugan.
PANNER PULAO
Ingredients:
(A)
1 cup basmathi rice
2 inch cinnamon stick
1 bay leaf
1 star anise
Salt to taste
(B)
1 tbs oil
2 tbs ghee
½ tsp cumin seeds
1 cup onions sliced
3 green chillies sliced
1 tbs ginger garlic paste
1 tbs biryani masala
1 tsp chillie powder
¼ tsp tumeric powder
2 tsp ground kas kas powder
1 cup tomato puree
(C)
½ cup diced capsicum
1/4 cup peas
¼ cup sweet corn kernals
2 tbs chopped coriander leaves
2 tbs chopped mint leaves
2 tbs curds
1 cup diced panner stir fried in oil
Method:
Cook the rice with all the ingredients in (A).
Cook till ¾ cooked, drain, let it cool in a basin.
Heat the oil and the ghee in a pot.
Add in all the ingredients (B) according to order.
Cook till oil seperates.
Now add in all the ingredients in (C).
Mix nicely and cook for few minutes.
Once the oil seperates, add the cooked rice and mix gently with the gravy.
Garnish with roasted cashew nuts and raisins.
Serve with any raitha or with Nithisri’s salana:-D

The flat rice noodles here is called kuih teow.
Here is the noodles fried with sauce. Kugan
KUIH TEOW WITH SAUCE
Ingredients:
300 grms fresh kuih teow (rice noodles )
1 tbs peanut oil
½ cup tofu cubes, stir fried
2 pips garlic smashed
¼ cup cauliflower florets
¼ cup carrot cut into vertical strips of 2 inches
½ cup of bean sprouts
1 tsp soy sauce
Salt to taste
Little spring onions chopped
Little lime wedges
Peanut Sauce: Grind To A Smooth mixture
½ cup roasted ground nuts
6 dried red chillies
½ tsp salt
½ tsp jaggery
1 cup of water
Ingredients:
Heat the oil in a non-stick pan. Stir fry the tofu and keep aside.
In the same oil add in the smashed garlic, let the nice aroma comes.
Add in the cauliflower florets and the carrots. Stir fry for 5 minutes.
Remove and keep aside.
In the same pan, add in the ground peanut sauce.
Simmer and let it boil a little, stir in between.
Add in the fried tofu, and the vegetables.
Add in the soy sauce little salt and the fresh kuih teow.
Toss every thing well, add in the beans sprouts
Sprinkle little water if the sauce is very thick.
Give a good stir , garnish with the spring onions.
Remove and serve with the lime wedges.

today my son started his school. he is fine now. today i tried sesame chutney. it came out very well. taste is delicious. thanks for sharing. will try panner pulao next.
K, the flat noodles looks absolutely divine... I have tried the same peanut sauce base for stir fried veggies(from http://www.sailusfood.com) amd it was yummy...I'm sure it'll taste equally good with noodles and maybe pastas aswell... will try it...
