I had a shock when I got the opporutnity to see the song for the first time.

Undoubtedly a pleasant song, with taboo movements.

Later when I did see the story, I understood, that the SONG plays a very important role, so much so, that its not JUST A song, but a begenning of SAD STORY or plight of a young woman.

Song GELS too well with the story. IF we pay lil more attention to the lyrics, and UNDERSTAND the lyrics, then we would agree taboo movements would be justified for the lyrics.

Actually I don't have problems with vulgar/taboo movements, but the *movements* were extremely amateurish. That is the problem!! Btw, its a fantabulous song 8-)

r_r the dance may not be great in that song, but at the same time Thala didnt spoil that song IMO. and the song is in the temple so no wonder there is no break dance. :P

Somewhere I read that... when karagattakaran released, for the song "Mariyamma Mariyamma"..... most of the Ladies-ku arul vandhu aada arambichuttanga.

I (atleast me alone) expected atleast half the emotion compared to the karagattakaran for "seval kodi" as it had a line "vel kuththi aadumbodhu veri yerum"

No..Not sivachandran (though he is acting in Arasi) .This is another one who acted as Annamalai's father ,I think ..I think he acted in Avargal as Sujatha's husband :roll:
