But the definitions for the following personalities you have mentioned i could not really agree with.

1. Kamal --- The first actor to prove that an actor can change his get up..
Actually this particular credit, i think should go to Shivaji Ganeshan

2. Senthil/Gowndamani - First comedy pair,they actually changed the rules of the comedy tracks.

They made their own way of comedy. That is it. Nothing like changing the rules. Every comedian before that also had their own styles.
Eg. Kalaivanar -- Who made thoughtful comedies
Cho - Sarcastic Comedy
etc...

3. Raghuvaran - First villan who actually broken the usual Villanisms!!

This also, i am not sure what was the thinking from ur side. If we see older movies, Villains mostly depend on dialoges and making loud sounds to express their villainism. There was a change when satyaraj was there. Not sure some other were really different before him. But i am not sure. Of course Raghuvaran Villainic Performances are different to tamil cinema. But i think he is not the one to broke the usual villainisms.

Just thought of mentioing them.

Saying that, your pick is very good. :D

Three points:

SP Bala is a great singer - a pokkisham for Tamil cinema. No doubt about that. He does not need "walking aids" such as MD, producer, dubbing artist (!) to make him any bigger than he is (not literally of course. ;))

Anyone can cry till the cows come home; that is not going to take away the magnifcance of MGR - who is a legend for Tamil folks. You can heap abuses as much as you like, but nothing is going to change history.

Sridhar thambi, abstain from using relative terms like "First..."
