thilak: It is in the warehouse monitoring sequence when Costello is doing the exchange with the chinese (No ticki, no laundry :lol: ). He says it when they get access to cellphone networks to see where a text is coming from IIRC. I got the feeling that Baldwin snuck in a little politically incorrect ad-lib there. :)
Oh! Thanks. Yeah, it ends with him thrashing a guy too. It's because the Chinese escape through the backwaters, right? Baldwin's character along with Queenan and Costigan are the "clean" cops in the film, also that black guy who gets killed along with Caprio and the other rat-cop. I still have doubts over Dignam. In Making of the film, it is revealed Kubrick forced George C.Scott to overplay his part (which infuriated him). Scott is terrific with all the lines.
