:idea: I queried 'Suresh Kannan' a famous blogger whether he is going to Direct 'Nanjil Naadan's 'Ettu Thikkum Matha Yaanai' as mentioned by NN in last weeks kungumam. He replied to me saying that, it is a different Suresh Kannan - the son of Nellai Kannan. If SuKa is the short form for the same, then it is confirmed that the movie 'Padithurai' is going to be made out of the novel mentioned herein.
Has anybody here read that novel?

Liked the Karthik song. Nice melody. IR's song is also nice but the lyrics have too much, 'in the face' quality. Very similar to 'Kattiluku Mattumdana Ponbala' song of Dhanam (Lyrics wise). Is the lyricist Muthulingam?

Kadukkuley Nadukkurathey has such a good flowing tune but the mix of natural ambience(water) and his synth-based orchestration is refreshing. The background ambience has also a very calming tone, like your in the midst of a quiet rainforest. I think this is one of a kind song. :D
Is this the first time thalaivar has used natural ambience as a background rhythm and occasionally as a arrangement? Barring the raa raa gumma song from anumanaspadam.

Seems like the leftover of 80's courtroom dramas! No Shot or visual makes us sit up. Sad Raaja is getting directors who are still struck in 20th Century :(
It after all got premiered at Cannes so it is not certainly a bad film. It is on the lines of HOPE(Telugu) and might be a stunner.
Chal Chalein to release on 7th August. Soundtrack may be released along with the film or 1 week before. So 1 more soundtrack to wait for. :D
