Became a mother to a man, he will never know. Raaja has
not lost his wife alone but his second mother. The gap cannot
be easily filled by any of the things or concepts.
Time and his music will hopefully keep him diverted for
quicker recovery. Now it is upto his family to come together
and heal themselves. I offer my prayers to the almighty
and wish that Raaja's family members rediscover their

இசைஞானி இளையராஜாவின் மனைவி ஜீவா, கடந்த 31-ம் தேதி மாரடைப்பால் மறைந்துவிட்டார். 1951-ல் பிறந்த ஜீவா, இளையராஜாவின் அக்காள் கமலத்தின் மகள். கார்த்திக் ராஜா, பவதாரிணி, யுவன் ஷங்கர் ராஜா என மூன்று இசை வாரிசுகள்!
ஜீவாவின் மறைவு குறித்து இளையராஜாவுக்கு நெருக்கமான சிலரிடம் விசாரித்தோம். ''இளையராஜா என்கிற விளக்குக்கு பிரசாசமாக வெளிச்சம் தந்தது, ஜீவா அம்மாள்தான். தன்னையே எண்ணெய்யாக எரியவைத்து... தன்னையே திரியாகவும் தீய்த்துக் கொண்டவர். கடந்த 10 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பு அவருக்கு இதய ஆபரேஷன் நடந்தது. சிகிச்சை நடந்த ஒரே வாரத்தில், திருப்பதியில் மூத்த மகன் கார்த்திக் கல்யாணம் நடந்தது. டாக்டர்கள் தடுத்தும் அங்கு சென்று மகனின் திருமணத்தை நடத்தி வைத்தார்.
விஜயகாந்த் திருமணத்திற்கு பெரும் உதவி செய்தவர். ஏனென் றால் பிரேமலதாவின் உறவினர்கள் ஜீவாவுக்கு ரொம்ப நெருக்கம். அவர்கள், 'சினிமா நடிகராச்சே விஜயகாந்த் எப்படி..?’ என்று ஜீவா விடம் விசாரித்தனர். ஜீவாவோ, ''அந்தப் பையன் ரொம்ப நல்லவர்...'' என்று சர்டிஃபிகேட் கொடுத்தார். இசை நுணுக்கம் தெரிந்தவர் இளை யராஜா என்றால், கலை உணர்வு அதிகம் கொண்டவர் ஜீவா. தற்போது தியாராய நகரில் இருக்கும் வீட்டு நிலத்தை வாங்கியபோது, ராஜா கடும் பிஸியாக இருந்தார். அதனால், கணவரின் ரசனைக்கு உகந்ததாகக் கருங்கல் திண்டு, மேஜை, கல் தாமரை விளக்கு, வெள்ளை சலவைச் சுவர் என்று ஒவ்வொரு விஷயத்திலும் ஈடுபாட்டோடு வீட்டைக் கட்டி முடித்தார் ஜீவா. அதுவரை வீட்டுப்பக்கமே எட்டிப் பார்க்காத கணவரை கிரகப்பிரவேசம் நடப்பதற்கு முதல்நாள் அழைத்துப்போய் காட்டினார். ஆனந்தத்தில் அதிர்ந்துபோன ராஜா, 'இவ்ளோ பெரிய்ய வீடா...’ என்று திகைத்தார்.'' என்று கனத்த குரலில் சொன்னார்கள்.
வழக்கமாக சென்னை பிரசாத் ஸ்டுடியோவில் இசையமைக் கும் ராஜா, மனைவி இறந்தபோது, 'சாய்பாபா’ தெலுங்கு படத்தின் இசையமைப்புக்காக ஹைதராபாத் சென்று இருந்தார். உடனே திரும்ப இயலாமல் மறுநாள் காலை வீட்டுக்கு வந்தவர், அஞ்சலி செலுத்த வந்தவர்களிடம், 'யாரும் அழ வேண்டாம்’ என்று தடுத்தார் இளையராஜா. ஆனால், மனைவியின் உடலை மூன்று முறை சுற்றிவந்து நெற்றியில் கை வைத்தபோது, அவரே கதறிவிட்டார். கடைசியில் பண்ணைபுரத்தில் அம்மா சின்னத்தாய் சமாதிக்கு அருகில், மனைவி ஜீவாவை அடக்கம் செய்தார் இளையராஜா.
'கட்டியவள் போட்டதெல்லாம் வாய்க்கு ருசி... அவள் கட்டோடு போன பின்னே வாய்க்கரிசி. உள்ளதெல்லாம் உனக்காகச் கொடுத்துச் சென்றாள்... பொட்டோடு பூவை மட்டும் எடுத்து சென்றாள்...’ என்று சொல்லும் கண்ணதாசன் பாடல் வரிகள் எத்தனை உணர்வுபூர்வமானது!
