Its Sequel time for 'Jeans'... !

Movie goers, especially the lovers of romance genre can never forget the 1998 classic romantic flick 'Jeans', that had actor Prashanth donning twin roles and former Miss Asihwarya Rai who went on to become one of the most sought after divas of bollywood, pairing up with him.
The film directed by ace director Shankar the film was noted for its grand picturisation and one of the songs was shot in front of 7 world wonders that gained much popularity for the film produced by Ashok Amirtharaj.
Since the current trend is positive for sequels, Prashanth's father Thiyagarajan who is also a actor, has registered the title Jeans 2 with film chamber. It is reported that he will be producing the film under the Lakshmi Shanthi Movie Makers banner owned by him. It is unclear whether he himself will direct the film or someone else will be entrusted the responsibility of wielding the megaphone for this sequel.
However the film if well made will surely give a fillip to actor Prashanth who has lost his hey days as a hero and seen struggling for many years for a worthy comeback
