Flau, I'll admit one thing upfront: I have less problems with a match shortened by seaming conditions, pacy greentop etc. compared to a match shortened because it is a minefield turner on day one. And I prefer both to a mottai pitch of pointlessness - think records pugazh SSC.
Idhukku mEla padikkaradhum, padikkaadhadhum unga ishtam.
Fleming paththi theriyAdhu :lol2: But for me, it was a test for Sehwag - completely changed my opinion of the guy.
Now why did I wait till NZ. He had made a century on debut in SA? Inherent feeling that seaming conditions is the deal-num sollalaam. Inherent hatred for suththu parties becoming successful-num sollalaam.
The match vs. SA?? I don't recall anything unusual - like a spin induced collapse on a crumbling pitch
Michael Clarke aththini wicket edukkuraan. andha pitch-ai pOyi defend paNNikkittu.
As in against my annoyance with Chennai 2007 vs. SA with Sevagan 300?
Chennai was a dabbA draw with nothing happening. How is that comparable with conditions where a result was produced- admittedly against a substandard bowling attack who had no means to make use of the conditions amply available.

ethu avuruku theriyuma?:-)
I didnt even see Sehwag's 319. My favourite is 201* carrying his bat in Galle.
It is a pity he went undercooked to England. The man's capable of anything on his day. Even on a seaming pitch doing wonders, you never know, he might score a hundred before Lunch. His game is agnostic to pitch, bowlers, situation etc. And it is not really fluke.
When he is crap, though, he is ultra crap.
But tie me up like Ramesh Kanna of Jodi - and I'd prefer that 319 to Cook's 294.
You shouldnt reduce the game to a series of mechanical actions very well reproduced and an oiled machine well capable of endurance and perfect rendering of mechanical actions.
Clarke taking wickets. Repeatedly, we have proven that we'll give wickets in buckets to just about anyone.
Klusener never had it better than his debut in Calcutta against us. Not that he is bad but he wasnt that good.
Krezja just played one test after taking 12 on debut against us. I'd stick my tongue out and say Clarke's wasnt any worse a performance

Dont judge a bowler or pitch by an Indian batting collapse.
terrible shot.
Of course. adhila edhuvum sandhEgamE illai.Quote:

Someone called his game ugly. I said I didn't find it so and there were in fact many pleasing shots he played. Thassaal.
