My list of favorite tfm songs would always include the songs in இளம் SPB குரல்; like "ஆயிரம் நிலவே வா...", "மல்லிகப் பூ வாங்கி வந்தேன்...", "இயற்கை என்றும் இளைய கன்னி..." and of course "பொட்டு வைத்த முகமோ..."! :)

Another early Raja/SPB collaboration. Simple, but elegant composition with pleasant beats. Haven't heard this one before. Thank you for posting it!

There was a time, long ago, that I used to think all good lyrics in TFM (especially in சிவாஜி movies) were written by கண்ணதாசன். In later years, I came to realize that many of my favorites were in fact penned by வாலி . Needless to say, வெள்ளிக் கிண்ணம் தான்... is one of them.
