A Happy verdict for 'Kaththi'
Director A.R.Murugadoss celebrated his 37th birthday on the sets of his upcoming film ‘Kaththi’ recently. Though it was a day at work for the director who commands a large fan following, the Court has given a fitting birthday gift for him.
A few weeks back a person named Gopi Nainar had alleged that the story of ‘Kaththi’ is the one written by him and it is being used by Murugadoss without his permission. Mr.Gopi has filed a petition in the Chennai City Civil Court. The Court which heard the petition has dismissed Mr.Gopi’s petition citing lack of evidence for his claims.
The verdict of the Court is certainly a birthday gift for the director who is also considered a master storyteller in Tamil, Telugu and also the Bollywood film industry. This news has delighted Murugadoss as well as Vijay fans since a what could have turned as a big hurdle for the film’s release has been avoided by the right intervention of the Court.
