The film is 'Maanavan'. It is a Devar Film released in 1970. I think Kamal is also in this film. May be 'visiladichan kunjugala' is for him.

The song end always surprises me. Im not sure if the abrupt end is a fullstop or its just a comma and the remaining couldnt make into the cassette?.
Never watched ML, so no idea of the song sequence(kamal and alam?) but kaNNadasan has written some powerful lines.
'netroru menagai' is another rare song from ML. I will host it sometime.

PS who generally breezes thru high pitch songs, seems to be finding it difficult here, SPB however makes it look so easy for him..

Not seen the movie either.

.Ramki I think Jayabarathi was the heroine in this movie.There was probably another lady Called Alam? in the movie,plus Y.vijaya.Kamal is a playboy(vazhakkam pol inthose days)jayabarathi is his wife, he goes astray which leads to seperation and finally the couple are together again .the other hit songs in the movie are manaivi amaivathellam(KJY),hello my dear wrong no.(KJY & LRE)& naadhamennum by (VJ).the song hello my dear in the movie is between kamal & y.vijaya!The movie was directed by KB , isnt it?

This is just another average duet among the classy songs like "manaivi amaivadhellaam", "naadhamennum " and "hello my dear". I would have preferred the last one which is quite rare and a brilliant composition in Dharmavathy
