For once, Kamal Haasan plays a character that bears resemblance to his persona. He has always been an avid dancer hence the Kathak dance sequences. Since the movie is action-based, he had to execute the action sequences as well, which he does to perfection. Unlike his other directorial ventures, he doesn't experiment this time round and essays whatever role he is playing. When he is the spy, he does everything by the book. Similarly, when he is the dancer, he walks, talks, looks and even fights (pun intended) like a dancer.

VETERAN ACTRESS TO PLAY KAMAL'S MOM!
Veteran Bollywood actress Waheeda Rehman has been roped in to play Kamal Haasan’s mom in Vishwaroopam 2. Waheeda had won the National Award for Best Actress in 1971 for her performance in Reshma Aur Shera and has won several prestigious awards including the FilmFare, Padama Bhushan and Padma Shri.
Apparently, Kamal had a meaty role for Waheeda and persuaded her to take it up following which she could not decline, say sources.
Watch out for the spectacular visual effects in Vishwaroopam 2! They have challenged Hollywood visual effects! Something very interesting and shocking surprise awaits the audience who will go spell bound 100 times more than who watched the visual effects of the first film's transformation action sequences which was considered one of the best visual effects sequences! Because many of us were not aware about that as visual effects work!!!!
