Ive always seen vadivelu (even kaundamani and others) shouting on top of his voice, which sends my bp pumping high :evil:

however

there is one scene in PASUMPON, where prabhu loses his temper and almost tries to kill a person. Vadivelu falls on prabhu's feet and requests him with utmost humility to forgo his anger.

In old films also, comedians used to shout but it wasn't irritating like how it is now.

it is just similar to how the songs, punch dialogues from heroes, shouting from villains etc. changed from old movies to new movies

True, Gounder started the trend, but he is much much better than his successors. Gounder's timing & sense of humour are terrific. Vadivelu is no match! Some of his recent comedies are pathetic. Of course there are some real gems like Swing in the Rain, Winner, Telex Pandian. But those are far and few between. Most of the comedies are dumb and unfunny - best suited for the so called B & C arivu jeevigal. :hammer: :bangcomp:

It was the way in which Senthil intimidates Gounder and Gounder's reactions that made us laugh. Thiruppi thiruppi Vadivelu podhu makkal kitta adivangaradhula appidi sirikkaradhukku enna dhaan irukku theriyala.
