sun news scroll says that both Rajini and shankar will start working for Enthiran-2 after they complete Rana and nanban respectively....
He will be 63 when Rana get releases and after that atleast it will take 1 year to start shooting for enthiran... Is it necessary to involve in such a mammoth project at this age?He can do some light projects instead of doing such hectic ones...

Rajini throws party

March 19 is an important day in Superstar Rajinikanth’s calendar. For it was on this day more than three decades ago Shivaji Rao Gaekwad, an aspiring actor, was renamed as Rajinikanth by mentor and ace director K Balachander.
In other words, the numero uno actor almost considers March 19 as his birthday and this year, his family members, especially wife Latha, decided to celebrate the 36th birthday of Rajinikanth in a grand manner.
Select celebrities from the tinsel town, who have a special place in Rajini’s heart, were invited and a grand lunch was prepared at the Superstar’s residence under the personal supervision of Latha.
Those who had attended the party include Mani Ratnam, Vaali, Vairamuthu, S A Chandrasekar, Panchu Arunachalam, T M Soundararajan, Mahendran, KRG, Deva, P Vasu and Shankar Ganesh.
The Superstar couple ensured that everyone felt at home and all the invitees were presented with gift hampers. The party was also attended by Rajini’s family members, including new ‘mappillai’ Ashwin

கே. பாலசந்தர், கவிஞர் வாலி, டி.எம். சௌந்தர்ராஜன், ரகுராம் மாஸ்டர், மணிரத்னம், எஸ்.ஏ. சந்திரசேகர், ஷோபா சந்திரசேகர், தேவா, வைரமுத்து, முக்தாசீனிவாசன், கே.ஆர்.ஜி, எ.ஜெகந்நாதன், சி.வி. ராஜேந்திரன், பி. வாசு, சித்ராலயா கோபு, மகேந்திரன், மாஸ்டர் சுந்தரம், கலைஞானம், ஒப்பனை முஸ்தபா, சுந்தரமூர்த்தி, பஞ்சு அரு ணாசலம், பஞ்சு சுப்பு, வியட்நாம்வீடு சுந்தரம், சங்கர்கணேஷ் என திரையுலகின் சகல துறைகளில் இருந்தும் தன் வளர்ச்சிக்குக் காரணமானவர்களை அழைத்திருந்தார் ரஜினி! அவர்களும் தவறாமல் வந்திருந்தனர்.
கடந்த சனிக்கிழமை (19.3.2011) மதியம் 12 மணியிலிருந்து வி.ஐ.பி.க்களின் கார்கள் ரஜினியின் போயஸ் கார்டன் இல்லத்திற்கு ஒன்றன்பின் ஒன்றாக பவனி வரத் தொடங்கின. தன் இல்லத்திற்கு வந்த ஒவ்வொருவரையும் ரஜினியும், லதாரஜினியும், ரஜினியின் மகள் சௌந்தர்யா, உட்பட அனைவரும் உற்சாகமாக வரவேற்றார்கள்.
குடும்ப சகிதமாக பெரியோர்கள் அனைவரின் கால்களிலும் விழுந்து வணங்கி ஆசிர்வாதம் வாங்கினார் ரஜினி.
ரஜினி, அவர்கள் ஒவ்வொருவரிடமும் தன் கடந்தகால அனுபவங்களை சிரிக்கச் சிரிக்கப் பேசி மகிழ்ந்தார்.
‘‘ரஜினிகாந்த்’’ என்ற பெயருக் கான பிறந்தநாளை மையப்படுத்தி பெரிய கேக் ஒன்றை ரஜினி வெட்டவும், எல்லோரும் அழகாய் கைதட்ட போயஸ் கார்டனே சந்தோஷத் தில் குலுங்கியது.
லதாரஜினி... அவர்கள் எல்லோரையும் சாப்பிட அழைக்கும் போது ‘‘உங்க எல்லாருக்கும் எங்க ஆத்துலேயே என் கையாலேயே சமைத்த சைவ சாப்பாடுதான், ஹோட்ட ல்லேர்ந்து எதுவும் வரவழைக்கலே...’’ என்று கூறி விருந்து பரிமாற ஆரம்பித்தார்.
ரஜினி, மகள், மருமகன் என்று எல்லோரும் பறிமாறினார்கள். ரஜினியின் உபசரிப்பும் எளிமையோடு எந்தவித பந்தாவும் இல்லாத நடவடிக்கையும் வந்திருந்த அனைவரையும் வியப்பில் ஆழ்த்தியது.
விருந்து முடிந்ததும் எல்லோருக்கும் நன்றிகளைத் தெரிவித்து கிஃப்ட் பேக் ஒன்றையும் ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் கொடுத்தார்கள். அதில் ஜரிகை வேஷ்டி, குர்தா, எவர்சில்வர் போகி வெற்றிலை சீவல், மஞ்சள் என்று
மங்களகரமாய் இருந்தது.
வந்திருந்த வி.ஐ.பி.க்களின் கார் டிரைவர்களையும் அமர வைத்து ரஜினி சாப்பிட வைத்ததோடு மட்டுமின்றி அவர்கள் ஒவ்வொருவரிடமும் ‘நல்லா சாப்பிடுங்க... இன்னும் என்ன வேணும்? என்ன வேணும்...’’ என்று உபசரித்தார். டிரைவர்கள் அனைவரும் திக்குமுக்காடிப் போய் ரஜினியை மனதார வாழ்த்தினார்கள்.
எல்லோரும் கிளம்புவதற்கு முன் ‘‘உங்க எல்லார் கூடவும் சேர்ந்து குடும்பத்தோட புகைப்படம் எடுக்க விருப்பப்படுகிறேன்’’ என்று ஆசையோடு கூறிய ரஜினி அப்படி எடுக்கப்பட்ட புகைப்படங்களின் ஒவ்வொரு காப்பியிலும் தன் கையெழுத்தைப்போட்டு அவர்களின் வீட்டிற்கு அனுப்பி வைத்தார்..
