I cant accept your reason. Because, another great movie 'KAPPALOTTIYA THAMIZHAN' was also defeated by 'Taayai Kaaththa Thanayan'. Do you accept freedom fight VOC also a worst soul..?. Now nobody will tell TKThanayan is a better movie than 'K.Thamizhan'.

The sad reason for this mis-result is, many times Tamil audience selected movies to watch, not on basis of 'Real talent' but on 'Charisma'.

Dude, Karnan is POTRAYED as MAHA ATMA, , Lord Krishna had the HIGHEST respect for him than any other warriors in the EPIC, KARNAN means KODAI VALLAL, KARNAN was far better WARRIOR than any including pithama Bhismar, pls go through my thread 'The greates epic - Mahabharath' , we have discussed Kara the NOBLE many many times

If Karnan was a FLOP movie, i feel really pity and disgusted abt the mentality , ignorance and empty heads of the audience!

:( Though I have high regard for him otherwise, I cant but FIERCELY agree with u that MGR could never be, in any sense, considered a good actor at all.

I always think its for stressing :cry:

Karan was 100 days movie..But it is consider failiure because it was a high budget movie.

But it is one of the movies which run very well from second release and till now.
