I found IR's slightly thamizhized Mallu easier to understand than the other guy's :-) The interviewer seems knowledgable enough to do instantaneous tune composing, who is he?

OK, never mind, I found out who he is :-)

youtube is easy and fast, but quality is not as good.

I felt same thing! but it was really nice to hear IR talking in mallu. I've heard that IR speaks many languages fluently, including telugu and kannada. are there any other languages (other than tamil/english)?

btw I am looking for ponmudi puzhayorathu and jackpot songs, if anyone has them pls upload.

Good enough for me. Plus all you need to do is to click a button and start viewing, instead of having to login or wait for 15 mins to download a huuuge file. And then worry about download limits if are using rapidshare.Plus I believe most of these file sharing sites delete files after some time if they are not actively being used.

youtube is the greatest thing to happen to the internet in recent times.

Now we'll have to see if there is a better site to share mp3s. Any suggestions would be gladly welcome.

That's MG Sreekumar (singer of suttum sudar vizhi from kalapani and chinna chinna mazhai thuLi from en swasa kAtre and of course the famous "nAdha rupiNi" from HHAbdullah).

A very good singer and the brother of the very talented MG Radhakrishnan. Their sister is also a good singer in mallu.

Dig: If you guys get Kairali TV, watch this program by Music Director M Jayachandran. The structure of the program is to take up a Raga, discuss it a bit, and they play songs based on that raga. It's not restricted to Mallu, MJ plays a lot of Raja songs from Tamizh as well.
