Nagarjuna as Maa TV MD
Top hero Nagarjuna who bought 30 percent stake in Maa TV has taken charge as the Managing Director (MD). On Saturday (May 6, 2006), he made visit to the Maa TV office at Punjagutta in Hyderabad. Though his final investment in the channel is yet be decided (sources told us that dicussions are still going on about his percentage of stake). But he is reportedly been acquired more than 30 percent of share. Nagarjuna has ventured into Television production by making TV serials and now he finally becomes partner of a leading channel.
With he assuming the office of Maa TV, the Telugu film industry and Television industry would have major changes.
There is also buzz in the industry that major national broadcasters are stepping into Telugu TV industry.
