Dialogues were great as usual in V V. One of them which comes immediately to my mind is when PP says to his aunt, "Athai, Nee mundhinda noakku, naan.....
Also, the jealousy among office staff's was effectively depicted thru Ramadoss character.
NT - needless to say, was extra-ordinary. Particularly in the retirement scene. A brief lecture to the staff and the subsequent scenes with Padmini will always be remembered by everyone.

These are two of my less favourite Sivaji performances - Vietnam Veedu in particular.
Anyway, it takes all kinds.
This was initially a successful play right ? It was enacted by Sivaji there too ? How long did he keep acting in stage plays ?
Dear Prabhu,
You told about VV and Gowravam already, right? Well as you had mentioned different people - different tastes.
He was active on the stage till May 1974. After VV, it was Thangapathakkam which was staged under Sivaji Nataka Mandram. Even while it was getting filmed the play was getting staged and when the movie got released on June 1st 1974, it was stopped. In fact if my memory serves me right the play was supposed to be held on 1st June in our Madurai. But later it got cancelled. He had badly wanted to do Tippu Sultan but it never materialised.
After this no plays were staged except for some shows which he did for cyclone relief fund in Dec 1977- Jan 1978.
