Ok, saw the ad. He says idhula visheshamana baagam rasigargal selection so presumably other songs will also be there - although that will be like standard stuff probably. As I don't believe in making lists, I just continue to hope that a good mix is achieved. Madai thiRandhu is a good pick. Maybe it could start with "en gaanam endru arangerum", move on to "madai thiRandhu", and conclude with "paattukku naan paadu patten...". That will make it one-dimensional and boring KV. One dimensional is ok but one-D based on lyrics is unforgiveable in a show for a Music Director. I thought these 3 were pretty interesting songs themselves and then spun a theme around it. We shouldn't spin a theme and try to fit songs - that will sort of narrow down the narrative...
