On a recent visit to Bangalore, I went to a theatre [either Ajanta or Natraj] one evening to "watch" Sivakasi. Before it gives other ideas, let me clarify that i was accompanied by 2 ex-roomies who are Rajini fans and we were there for a specific reason. We had a twin-fold objective - to try and have a "so-bad-its-good" experience and to send across a strong statement to those who had the lack of sense to watch a movie like Sivakasi[recursive hypocrisy].
From the moment we came in, till the interval [we left in the interval], i can categorically state that none in the theatre was able to watch the movie in peace or hear any dialoges. That i had a sore throat after an hour was immaterial. Even the people standing outside in the interval were not spared. We were lucky to come out in one piece because unlike Aandavar and Rajini, no other Thamizh actor has any following in Bangalore. Its not going to solve world hunger i know but at least, we three did our wee little bit to make the world a better place without the menace of Sivakasi et all.
Sometimes, muLLA muLLala dhAn edukkaNum!
P.S: I don't remember a freaking frame from the movie..... :)
better restrict yourself to multiplexes.. Otherwise, You might post a lengthy post in this thread about your experience. :lol:Quote:

I agree if the theatre is empty, not when its packed with fans eager to watch a good (or bad) movie.

He has done something good for the society.. With that incident, family people will refrain from watching those movies. "Mulla Mullaala thaan edukanum" I don't think people who paid the money will feel. They will curse themselves for choosing a movie like that. Just like A_A, good movie fans won't wait for the completion of the movie :DQuote:
