Yes of course, wen u think of Saree, it does bring a traditional atmosphere into the pic. w. or w/out u intending to think of it! :)Quote:
i guess by this way, we cant deny the fact of tradition coming here :-) isnt it?
Yes of course dhoti doesnt commonly exist in the South excpt maybe AP & Karnatka......even many Telugu men wear veshti (eg. late Ghantasala the playbacksinger), only they call it pancha..:)Quote:
well saree tradition is followed throughout India ... but not Dhoti :-) tis as simple as that ...
But outside the south no-one even herd of these I guess....!
Saree is def. more popular except in Punjab, colder states.....
Oh well.....I guess wen they do, they see it more as an individual's point of view & tat culture isnt goin2 be affected by wat they as 1 individual think......but once too many think against it, it starts affecting......Quote:
I really feel why GIRLS n WOMEN talk against this dress !
Lamby ! :-)
Following tradition is in our hands ;-) isnt it ? if we dont do it then there is no use of talking about others .... As such we are attracted by the west n they are attracted by us ........ :-) simple fact ! we think that is good ... they think this is better !
i cant help AI women not wearing saree ... ;-) we hve nothing to say after seeing KF airlines  so AI must also think about marketing .... namma nilamai ippadi aaga vendam ... we market killin our own custom n culture ;-)
i second that! but don't talk abt indian air hostesses!Quote:

Atleast they wer last time I travlled on their flights 2 yrs ago.....wat I ment is, they r not maintaining the hospitality tat they wer known for......wen I got into the flight, they seldom stand at the entrance & put a 'namaste'......rather they'd appear from inside & mutter in a bored voice 'morning or 'evening.....!
And in Ind. Airlines (domestic) flights the way they wear their Sarees now (ughh! :x ) looks totally unprofessional, unlike b4!
Indian in the sense Indian airlines or on all flights from India (inc. AI)?Quote:
