and in the role of ayan..

I accept that vijays movie would had been a bigger hit if he had performed like surya or better...but ... would he had performed like that?

Vinodji, onnu mattum sollunga. Only fans of an actor cannot make a film a success. Podhu audience nu onnu irukkaainga. And Vijay is slowly but steadily losing his respect among them. Before Thirumalai I would not think twice before watching a Vijay film. Now its different. Naan periya vennaiyaanu kekkaadheenga. Oru sinna example.

discussion was all about no. of shows, no of days and no of people saw the movie. So I also included the quality of the audience.
BTW at least looking at the discussion here, Vijay fans should be proud of themselves, because he is the only one who is compared with all other actors in Tamil cinema. That itself talks a lot about his abilities.

I already commented about this. I agree that Vijay's talent has been wasted in the recent movies and that does not mean that he is not good. He is one heck of a talent who can pull any roles to the perfection at ease.
