Double meaningukkum indha maadhiri explicita asingama kaataradhukkum vithyasam undu. IMO, Venniradai moorthy, Bhagyaraj comedy ellam double meaninga irundhalum "Chee" nnu solra madhiri irukkadhu.

In Devar Magan, as a faithful servant to the Thevar clan, Vadivelu played well. His rold in Emtan Magan was also good. Agreed. Baring movies like Chinna Gounder, I dont think Gounder was given an opportunity to show his emoting skills( :roll: ). Forget it. Probably he isnt fit to play such roles at all. We never expected him to do so. Also such characters were mostly given to Janakaraj during those days. But when it comes to timing, sense of humour, dialogue delivery, reactions, SCENE STEALING, making co-actors look like lilliputs, Gounder rules!

CBE, I think Gounder without Senthil is definitely better than Tom without Jerry. Some of his best comedies are with Sathyaraj, Karthik, Rajini, Vadivelu and even Thalaivar!

P.S: andha word use panna venamennu dhaan 'urine sandhu' nnu sonnen.... :)

Goundar was absolutely fabulous in that v.shekar movie with banupriya
The villainous role performed by Goundar even made me to hate him in that movie....even thou the role had some humorous scenes he was a ruthless.

That movie showed that he can perform any role.

The issue many had with GM was not the vulgarity in his comedies. But his over preaching at times. esp in movies he played a second hero. :( Goundar - Senthil combo is the ultimate. Solo goundar is not that much lovable.

& Vulgarity pazhaya movies la kamminnu nenaikiraen. (before Suruli, Thengai etc)

Vadivel has become famous among kids.. and that's why he is surviving with his loud , crying expressions. The one think i like about in him is his body language.. Since the new generation have not seen much of Goudar, they are stuck to Vadivel..
