Naaz, again one more correction :-) It was Rathna who danced for that neenga nalla irukkOnum song (not *chandrika). Rathna acted earlier in MGR film Enga Veettu Pillai (remember that famous PS/LRE'Malarukku Thendral Pagai AnAl).

Yes... SN23, It was Rathna danced in Idhayakkani first song.

She is the one who danced for "Naan maandhoppil nindrirundhen".... (TMS & LRE) in Enga veettu pillai.

What subsequently happened to Ratna. Why she did not appear for long after that.
I dont remember seeing her after EVP.

I was wondering why Vani Jayaram , could not last for a longer duration ( in comparison with PS or SJ ) .
Yes, she lasted much longer but not compared to PS or SJ

Probably her voice could not fit to most of the actresses.

I think she sang more for Sripriya . Not much for Sridevi.

Again, IR used SJ more than anybody else.

And MSV used PS more than anybodyelse eventhough he gave more chances to VJ also.

Can anybody come out with an analysis on this

Rathna was the heroine of "Thozhilali" with MGR.( KRV is just like pickles..) But I dunno which one was first.. EVP or thozhilali ?

This was played by TMS ( for Jaishankar ) and VJ ( for Jaychitra ).

Poovaana is by IR. But I don't who composed Uchi Malaiyil. It is from the film KazhuguMalai Kallan. There is another IR song from the mid or late 80s, a Kaattuvaasi dance in the film "Eetti" with Vijaykant and Nalini. It is a duet - VJ&MVD.

Naalai unadhu naal - Vijay kanth with ......

KJY and VJ - Vennilaa oduthu kannilay aadhuthu yenodu than paaduthu - it was a hit .
