Sara, there is another duet by SJ and I think the male voice is SPB.I don't know which movie it is from or the MD of this song. The song starts as
'vaazhthuvaai la la ' I remember the tune and not the lyrics.It is set in 'Amirthavarshini' raagam.It must be around 85/86/87/88 period. Could u throw some light?

Mythila: Can you give any further info on ‘vaazhthuvaai la la’- I’m sorry I don’t recall it- You know I am happily ignorant of Ragam etc- so ‘Amrithavarshini’ is not going to be of any help to me!
Btw, did you know that SJ’s granddaughter is called Amrithavarshini? Of course, SJ’s classic ‘Azhagiya megangal’ from Ganga Gowri is always held as a brilliant example of Amrithavarshini in film music.
