I think 'jaanavule' and 'naan sirithal' are both derived from Subbaraman's 'O Devadas'. They are both the same raga and the structure is almost the same. But if you see 'madana moha roopa sundari', he seems to derive from the other Tamil MDs of earlier era like G Ramanathan and the structure in that song is different with MV resembling C S Jayaraman.

Salasalakkum katre and thudikkudhu are sensational erotic numbers and the album stumps us with absolute kid stuff in the rest of the song - I just wonder what kind of movie can have absolute adult material song in 2 and kids stuff in the rest.

Right in the beginning of this thread I had written about 'kadhal degangal'. I bought the CD mainly for 'alai meedhu' song but was floored when I heard 'kadal degangal'. As you say, it has erotica written all over it.
