As reported earlier director Vijay’s much anticipated film did go for a re-censor recently. According to our sources inside the team, the revising team requested for 7 cuts in the film. However, after a lot of negotiations, both the parties have agreed for two or three cuts at the maximum.
On the whole, Thalaivaa will release on the 9th of August with a U certificate. It has also come to our knowledge that the Vijay-Amala Paul starrer is almost 170 minutes long.
Also starring Sathyaraj, Santhanam, Ragini Nandwani, Rajiv Pillai and Abhimanyu Singh in other pivotal characters, Thalaivaa has been produced by Chandra Prakash Jain of Shri Mishri Productions. Director Vijay’s usual brigade consisting of composer GV Prakash, cinematographer Nirav Shah and editor Anthony makes up the core team of the project.
