But only a suggestion from a random friend that he could do with an unusual opening which would be remembered like the opening sequence in Patton, his own scripted film. The initial few mins in Dark Knight is unsettling. Chaotic. We don't get "introduced" to the characters, those we know a little more fall down, which is so unlike the "setting the scene" prescriptions for opening scenes in screenplays. You are asked to make sense of stuff as things progress and they down slow down to explain for the benefot of the viewer. Icing on the cake being the grand entry !
