Best Love Melodies

minnalE nee vandhadennadi

- I voted for this simply because I had listened to the album recently.

I don't think it's possible to arrive at 'best'. But the list could be improved.

Two nominations because I'd listened AND watched the video quite recently:

Narumugaiye,
Poo kodiyin

The songs as such are minimalist considering the period, context and theme of the movie. That said, the choreography/video plays a part in these selections. I'm unable to isolate the imagery to these songs.

am also just wondering where the likes of Sandhana Thendral, Mellisaye, Vennilave Vennilave and Thoda Thoda are?

Mellisaiye is another brilliant song.

It's really difficult to vote since all the songs are truly amazing numbers...maybe you should have renamed the forum as Favourite ARR's melodies instead of Best ARR's melodies. Ethu best-nu namme epedi soluradhe? :huh:

You can do that. Why do you think by voting a song you consecrate injustice to others? There will always be additions that pops up in every mind (Polls have been conducted even for world best songs ever). Nothing can be done now the poll is up and 21 votes have already been booked. They have expressed their views. There should be a way out. Shortlist them and listen to it sure you can rate it based upon your personal liking and understanding. No harm no regrets Have fun :)

Hey Scale

Its my opinion that its not fair to vote for a single song. to me, it makes me feel bad (however twisted that sounds). i have been following the thread from the beginning and i have already short listed the songs. ever time i listen, one sounds better than the other.
may be we should include 2 options for None of the above and All of the above. :) just an idea

Voted for "minnalE nee vandhadennadi"...

But I have one doubt... in certain options, we have 2 songs... even if one of them is our personal favourite, we will vote for that option only.. at the same time, song like "minnalE nee vandhadennadi" is like one man army... where the current voting % is 16.. whereas the song(s) having highest % in the list is Munbe Vaa / New York nagaram... which has two songs..

ultimately "minnalE nee vandhadennadi" is the winner at least for now ??
