Liked it.. If you can tolerate Gauthami's kodumaiyana acting and the first 20 mins, this film is quite gripping. Sure shot hit.
The director should have seen all the "Nightmare next door episodes". Good screenplay..
Sure .. the review is more by holding the original the gold standard and seeing how PN deviates from it rather than PN by itself! Why shouldn't the characterization of Kamal's character by seen all by his own ? Why should the main character be cold and not emotional with guilt ? There are others but the gist is that a remake does not have to be a carbon copy of the original. KH gives it another shade or perspective - a different personality going through the same issue.Quote:

The performances of other actors including Gautami, Asha Sarath, Niveda Thomas, Kalabhavan Mani, Esther Anil, Ananth Mahadevan, MS Bhaksra, Roshan Basheer, Delhi Ganesh, Ilavarasau, Arul Dass and Sree Ram has also been lauded.
Meanwhile, the Hindi version of "Drishyam" starring Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran is set for its release on 31 July.
