[tscii]Once Budhha was going through a village. The villagers heaped words of disrespect and dishonour on him. He was unfettered by these words and told the villagers if they had finished their tirade against him, he could move on to another village where his disciplines are waiting for him. The villagers were stunned.
A few elders amongst them took courage and asked him how he could keep the composure in the midst of wordy abuses. Then Buddha told them that it was their right to abuse him. Equally, it is his right not to accept it.
Then he told them that, when he was coming from another village, the residents in that village had offered him sweets. He did not accept the sweets. He asked the present villagers what they think the previous village people would have done.
They informed him that, since he did not accept their sweets, the villagers would have taken back the sweets. Then Buddha quietly told the villagers that this is what is exactly they are going to do now they have to take back their abuses since he did not accept them.

Once upon a time, there lived a King who, despite his luxurious lifestyle,
was neither happy nor content.
One day, the King came upon a servant who was singing happily while he
worked. This fascinated the King; why was he, the Supreme Ruler of the Land,
unhappy and gloomy, while a lowly servant had so much joy. The King asked
the servant, "Why are you so happy?" The man replied, "Your Majesty, I am nothing but a servant, but my family and I don't need too much - just a roof over our heads and warm food to fill our tummies."
The king was not satisfied with that reply. Later in the day, he sought the
advice of his most trusted advisor. After hearing the King's woes and the
servant's story, the advisor said, "Your Majesty, I believe that the servant
has not been made part of The Club 99."
"The Club 99? And what exactly is that?" the King inquired. The advisor replied, "Your Majesty, to truly know what The Club 99 is, place 99 Gold coins in a bag and leave it at this servant's doorstep."
When the servant saw the bag, he took it into his house. When he opened the
bag, he let out a great shout of joy... so many gold coins! He began to count them. After several counts, he was at last convinced that there were 99 coins. He wondered, "What could've happened to that last gold coin? Surely, no one would leave 99 coins!" He looked everywhere he could, but that final coin was elusive.
Finally, exhausted, he decided that he was going to have to work harder than ever to earn that gold coin and complete his collection.
From that day, the servant's life was changed. He was overworked, horribly
grumpy, and castigated his family for not helping him make that 100th gold
coin. He stopped singing while he worked.
Witnessing this drastic transformation, the King was puzzled. When he sought
his advisor's help, the advisor said, "Your Majesty, the servant has now officially joined The Club 99" He continued, "The Club 99 is a name given to those people who have enough to be happy but are never contented, because they're always yearning and striving for that extra 1 telling themselves: "Let me get that one final
thing and then I will be happy for life."
We can be happy, even with very little in our lives, but the minute we're
given something bigger and better, we want even more! We lose our sleep, our
happiness, we hurt the people around us; all these at a price for our
growing needs and desires. That's what joining The Club 99 is all about."
As I was passing the elephants, I suddenly stopped, confused by the fact that these huge creatures were being held by only a small rope tied to their front leg. No chains, no cages. It was obvious that the elephants could, at anytime, break away from their bonds but for some reason, they did not.
I saw a trainer near by and asked why these beautiful, magnificent animals just stood there and made no attempt to get away. "Well," he said, "when they are very young and much smaller we use the same size rope to tie them and, at that age, it's enough to hold them. As they grow up, they are conditioned to believe they cannot break away.
They believe the rope can still hold them, so they never try to break free." I was amazed. These animals could at any time break free from their bonds but because they believed they couldn't, they were stuck right where they were.
Like the elephants, how many of us go through life hanging onto a belief that we cannot do something, simply because we failed at it once before?
Nice one NOV, a very true fact of life :)
I ran into a stranger as he passed by,
"Oh excuse me please" was my reply.
He said, "Please excuse me too;
I wasn't watching for you."
We were very polite, this stranger and I.
We went on our way and we said good-bye.
But at home a different story is told,
How we treat our loved ones, young and old.
Later that day, cooking the evening meal,
My son stood beside me very still.
When I turned, I nearly knocked him down.
"Move out of the way," I said with a frown.
He walked away, his little heart broken.
I didn't realize how harshly I'd spoken.
While I lay awake in bed,
God's still small voice came to me and said,
"While dealing with a stranger,
common courtesy you use,
but the family you love, you seem to abuse.
Go and look on the kitchen floor,
You'll find some flowers there by the door.
Those are the flowers he brought for you.
He picked them himself: pink, yellow and blue.
He stood very quietly not to spoil the surprise,
you never saw the tears that filled his little eyes."
By this time, I felt very small,
And now my tears began to fall.
I quietly went and knelt by his bed;
"Wake up, little one, wake up," I said.
"Are these the flowers you picked for me?"
He smiled, "I found 'em, out by the tree.
I picked 'em because they're pretty like you.
I knew you'd like 'em, especially the blue."
I said, "Son, I'm very sorry for the way I acted today;
I shouldn't have yelled at you that way."
He said, "Oh, Mom, that's okay.
I love you anyway."
I said, "Son, I love you too,
and I do like the flowers, especially the blue."
If we died tomorrow,
the company that we are working for
could easily replace us in a matter of days.
But the family we left behind will feel the loss
for the rest of their lives.
We pour ourselves more into work
than into our own family.
thank god ...................i always say plenty of thank u's and sorry's :)

A Little Boy's Temper
There once was a little boy who had a bad temper. His father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the fence.
The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily, gradually dwindled down. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence. Finally the day came when the boy didn't lose his temper at all. He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper.
The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone. The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence. He said "you have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one."
You can put a knife in a man and draw it out. It won't matter how many times you say I'm sorry, the wound is still there.
One must learn to control the temper, the next time we are tempted to say something which we will regret later.
Once an unhappy young man came to an old master and told he was very sad, unhappy and asked for a solution.
The old Master instructed the unhappy young man to put a handful of salt in a glass of water and then to drink it. "How does it taste?" the Master asked. "Awful," spat the apprentice. The Master chuckled and then asked the young man to take another handful of salt and put it in the lake. The two walked in silence to the nearby lake and when the apprentice swirled his handful of salt into the lake, the old man said, "Now drink from the lake."
As the water dripped down the young man's chin, the Master asked, "How does it taste?" "Good!" remarked the apprentice. "Do you taste the salt?" asked the Master. "No," said the young man.
The Master sat beside this troubled young man, took his hands, and said,
"The pain of life is pure salt; no more, no less. The amount of pain in life remains the same, exactly the same. But the amount we taste the 'pain' depends on the container we put it into. So when you are in pain, the only thing you can do is to enlarge your sense of things."

Shakthiprabha, Ramky, Nov :
I once stopped behind several cars in an intersection. The winter
weather was icy cold and a strong artic wind blew relentlessly. Ahead of
me a young woman stood alongside the street rubbing her bare hands
together and dancing in place to keep warm. Beside her rested a sign
that read, "I have a baby and no food." She was obviously crying, likely
from the pain of the cold wind.
Homeless and unemployed people are a common sight in many of our larger
cities, and most motorists drive by without offering assistance. They
have no doubt been taught that giving money fosters
a dependent lifestyle, or the ready cash may be used to purchase
alcohol or another substance rather than the food it was intended
for. Like me, they may have been taught that one should give to a
local charity or through one's church, as these institutions can help
those in need far more effectively.
This, of course, is true, but I am reminded of the college students who
encountered a homeless man on the sidewalk. One of the students took a
couple of dollars from his wallet and handed it to the unfortunate
stranger. His friend commented, "Why did you do that?
He's just going to spend it on booze or drugs." The student answered,
"Yeah...like we're not!"
As I waited for the light to turn, I felt conflicted about that young
woman. Whether or not I should give money, she was obviously in need.
And whether or not she actually had a baby really didn't seem to matter.
I gave up guessing people's motives and analyzing their stories long
ago. It was cold. She was cold. And she obviously felt she had to be
there.
What should I do? Give her money? What was best?
As I wrestled with these questions, the window rolled down from the car
in front of me and a hand shot out holding a warm pair of gloves. The
driver took her own gloves off and gave them to the shivering woman. I
saw the young woman mouth the words "Thank you" as a broad smile lit up
her face.
As I debated, somebody else helped. As I hesitated, somebody else
acted. As I tried to decide the BEST way to assist, somebody else
just did what she could. As I did nothing, she did something.
I made myself a pledge that day to always do SOMETHING. Whether it is
big or small, just do something. Something is almost always better
than nothing!
Educator Leo Buscaglia said, "Too often we underestimate the power of a
touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or
the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to
turn a life around." Don't underestimate what you CAN do! Each of us
can do something, and the something you do may be more important than
you'll ever know.

Once all village people decided to pray for rain. On the day of prayer all
people gathered and only one boy came with an Umbrella.... ..that's
confidence!
*TRUST:*
Trust should be like the feeling of a one year old baby when you throw him
in the air, he laughs.....because he knows you will catch him.
*HOPE:*
Every night we go to bed, we have no assurance to get up alive in the next
morning but still you have plans for the coming day.
KEEP CONFIDENCE, TRUST OTHERS AND NEVER LOSE HOPE!
Have a good day!!!

You Can Make A Difference
A teacher in New York decided to honor each of her seniors in high school by telling them the difference they each made.
She called each student to the front of the class, one at a time. First she told each of them how they had made a difference to her and the class. Then she presented each of them with a blue ribbon imprinted with gold letters, which read,
"Who I Am Makes a Difference."
Afterwards the teacher decided to do a class project to see what kind of impact recognition would have on a community. She gave each of the students three more ribbons and instructed them to go out and spread this acknowledgment ceremony.
Then they were to follow up on the results, see who honored whom and report back to the class in about a week.
One of the boys in the class went to a junior executive in a nearby company and honored him for helping him with his career planning. He gave him a blue ribbon and put it on his shirt.
Then he gave him two extra ribbons and said, "We're doing a class project on recognition, and we'd like you to go out, find somebody to honor, give them a blue ribbon, then give them the extra blue ribbon so they can acknowledge a third person to keep this acknowledgment ceremony going. Then please report back to me and tell me what happened."
Later that day the junior executive went in to see his boss who had been noted, by the way, as being kind of a grouchy fellow.
He sat his boss down, and he told him that he deeply admired him for being a creative genius. The boss seemed very surprised. The junior executive asked him if he would accept the gift of the blue ribbon and would he give him permission to put it on him. His surprised boss said, "Well, sure."
The junior executive took the blue ribbon and placed it right on his boss's jacket above his heart. As he gave him the last extra ribbon, he said, "Would you do me a favor? Would you take this extra ribbon and pass it on by honoring somebody else.
The young boy who first gave me the ribbons is doing a project in school, and we want to keep this recognition ceremony going and find out how it affects people."
That night the boss came home to his 14-year-old son and sat him down. He said, "The most incredible thing happened to me today. I was in my office and one of the junior executives came in and told me he admired me and gave me a blue ribbon for being a creative genius.
Imagine. He thinks I'm a creative genius.
Then he put this blue ribbon that says "Who I Am Makes a Difference" on my jacket above my heart. He gave me an extra ribbon and asked me to find somebody else to honor. As I was driving home tonight, I started thinking about whom I would honor with this ribbon and I thought about you.
I want to honor you. My days are really hectic, and when I come home I don't pay a lot of attention to you. Sometimes I scream at you for not getting good enough grades in school and for your bedroom being a mess, but somehow tonight, I just wanted to sit here and well, just let you know that you do make a difference to me.
Besides your mother, you are the most important person in my life. You're a great kid and I love you!"
The startled boy started to sob and sob, and he couldn't stop crying. His whole body shook. He looked up at his father and said through his tears, "Dad, earlier tonight I sat in my room and wrote a letter to you and Mom explaining why I had killed myself and asking you to forgive me.
I was going to commit suicide tonight after you were asleep. I just didn't think that you cared at all. The letter is upstairs.
I don't think I need it after all."
His father walked upstairs and found a heartfelt letter full of anguish and pain. The envelope was addressed, "Mom and Dad."
The boss went back to work a changed man.
He was no longer a grouch but made sure to let all his employees know that they made a difference.
The junior executive helped several other young people with career planning and never forgot to let them know that they made a difference in his life... one being the boss's son.
And the young boy and his classmates learned a valuable lesson.
Who you are DOES make a difference!
Subject: Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve one's condition.
In ancient times, a king had a boulder placed on a roadway. Then he hid himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the king's wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it.
Many loudly blamed the king for not keeping the roads clear, but none did anything about getting the big stone out of the way. Then a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables. On approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to the side of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded.
As the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the boulder had been.
The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the king indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway. The peasant learned what many others never understand.
Moral of the Story:
Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve one's condition.

Subject: Put the glass down
Once A professor began his class by holding up a glass
with some water in it. He held it up for all to see;
asked the students, "How much do you think this glass
weighs?
'50gms!'?... .'100gms! ' ......'125gms' ......the
students answered.
I really don't know unless I weigh it,' said the
professor, 'but, my question is: What would happen if
I held it up like this for a few minutes?'
Nothing' the students said.
OK what would happen if I held it up like this for an
hour?' the professor asked.
Your arm would begin to ache' said one of the
students.
You're right, now what would happen if I held it for a
day?'
Your arm could go numb; you might have severe muscle
stress & paralysis; have to go to hospital for sure!
ventured another student ; all the students laughed.
Very good. But during all this, did the weight of the
glass change? Asked the professor.
No replied the students, Then what caused the arm
ache; the muscle stress?'
Instead what should I do?
The students were puzzled. Put the glass down! Said
one of the students.
Exactly!' said the professor' LIFE'S PROBLEMS are
something like this. Hold it for a few minutes in your
head; they seem OK. Think of them for a long time;
they begin to ache. Hold it even longer; they begin
to paralyze you.
You will not be able to do anything. It's important to
think of the challenges (problems) in your life, but
EVEN MORE IMPORTANT to 'put them down' at the end of
every day before you go to sleep. That way, you are
not stressed, you wake up every day fresh; strong ;
can handle any issue, any challenge that comes your
way!
Remember friend to PUT THE GLASS DOWN TODAY! That's
life!!!!!!!! !!!!!!

A young man who went overseas to study for quite a long time. When he returned, he asked his parents to find him a religious scholar or any expert who could answer his 3 Questions.
Finally, his parents were able to find a scholar. Young man: Who are you? Can you answer my questions? Scholar: I am one of God willing, I will be able to answer your questions.
Young man: Are you sure? A lot of Professors and experts were not able to answer my questions.
Scholar: I will try my best, with the help of God .
Young Man: I have 3 questions:
1. Does God exist? If so, show me His shape.
2. What is fate?
3. If Devil was created from the fire, why at the end he will be thrown to hell that is also created from fire. It certainly will not hurt him at all, since Devil and the hell were created from fire. Did God not think of it this far?
Suddenly, the Scholar slapped the young man's face very hard. !
Young Man(feeling pain): Why do you get angry at me?
Scholar: I am not angry. The slap is my answer to your three questions.
Young Man: I really don't understand.
Scholar: How do you feel after I slapped you?
Young Man: Of course, I felt the pain.
Scholar: So do you believe that pain exists?
Young Man: Yes.
Scholar: Show me the shape of the pain!
Young Man: I cannot.
Scholar: That is my first answer. All of us feel God's existence without being able to see His shape... Last night, did you dream that you will be slapped by me?
Young Man: No.
Scholar: Did you ever think that you will get a slap from me, today?
Young Man: No.
Scholar: That is fate my second answer........ My hand that I used to slap you, what is it created from?
Young Man: It is created from flesh.
Scholar: How about your face, what is it created from?
Young Man: Flesh.
Scholar: How do you feel after I slapped you?
Young Man: In pain.
Scholar: That's it... this is my third answer, Even though Devil and also the hell were created from the fire, if God wants,God willing , the hell will become a very painful place for devil.
God said: "If you are ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you." If you are not ashamed, pass this message on...only if you believe.
There re many things in ur life which will catch ure eye but only few will catch ure heart pursue those.
Always Keep Smiling!
Speech by President of India - see if this changes your thinking !
Subject: Speech by President of India
The President of India DR. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam's Speech in Hyderabad.
Why is the media here so negative?
Why are we in India so embarrassed to recognize our own strengths, our achievements? We are such a great nation.
We have so many amazing success stories but we refuse to acknowledge them.
Why?
We are the first in milk production.
We are number one in Remote sensing satellites.
We are the second largest producer of wheat.
We are the second largest producer of rice.
Look at Dr. Sudarshan, he has transferred the tribal village into a self-sustaining, self-driving unit.
There are millions of such achievements but our media is only obsessed in the bad news and failures and disasters.
I was in Tel Aviv once and I was reading the Israeli newspaper. It was the day after a lot of attacks and bombardments and deaths had taken place.
The Hamas had struck. But the front page of the newspaper had the picture of a Jewish gentleman who in five years had transformed his desert into an orchid and a granary.
It was this inspiring picture that everyone woke up to.
The gory details of killings, bombardments, deaths, were inside in the newspaper, buried among other news.
In India we only read about death, sickness, terrorism, crime.
Why are we so NEGATIVE?
Another question: Why are we, as a nation so obsessed with foreign things?
We want foreign T. Vs, we want foreign shirts. We want foreign technology.
Why this obsession with everything imported.
Do we not realize that self-respect comes with self-reliance?
I was in Hyderabad giving this lecture, when a 14 year old girl asked me for my autograph. I asked her what her goal in life is.
She replied: I want to live in a developed India.
For her, you and I will have to build this developed India.
You must proclaim. India is not an under-developed nation; it is a highly developed nation.
Do you have 10 minutes? Allow me to come back with a vengeance.
Got 10 minutes for your country? If yes, then read; otherwise, choice is
yours.
YOU say that our government is inefficient.
YOU say that our laws are too old.
YOU say that the municipality does not pick up the garbage.
YOU say that the phones don't work, the railways are a joke, The airline is the worst in the world, mails never reach their destination.
YOU say that our country has been fed to the dogs and is the absolute pits.
YOU say, say and say.
What do YOU do about it?
Take a person on his way to Singapore . Give him a name - YOURS.
Give him a face - YOURS.
YOU walk out of the airport and you are at your International best.
In Singapore you don't throw cigarette butts on the roads or eat in the stores.
YOU are as proud of their Underground links as they are.
You pay $5 (approx. Rs. 135.00) to drive through Orchard Road (equivalent of Mahim
Causeway or Pedder Road) between 5 PM and 8 PM.
YOU come back to the parking lot to punch your parking ticket if you have over stayed in a restaurant or a shopping mall irrespective of your status identity... In Singapore you don't say anything, DO YOU?
YOU wouldn't dare to eat in public during Ramadan, in Dubai.
YOU would not dare to go out without your head covered in Jeddah.
YOU would not dare to buy an employee of the telephone exchange in London at 10pounds ( Rs.650) a month to, 'see to it that my STD and ISD calls are billed to someone else.'
YOU would not dare to speed beyond 55 mph (88 km/h) in Washington and then tell the traffic cop, 'Jaanta hai main kaun hoon (Do you know who I am?). I am so and so's son. Take your two bucks and get lost.'
YOU wouldn't chuck an empty coconut shell anywhere other than the garbage pail on the beaches in Australia and New Zealand .?
Why don't YOU spit Paan on the streets of Tokyo ?
Why don't YOU use examination jockeys or buy fake certificates in Boston???
We are still talking of the same YOU.
YOU who can respect and conform to a foreign system in other countries but cannot in your own.
You who will throw papers and cigarettes on the road the moment you touch Indian ground.
If you can be an involved and appreciative citizen in an alien country, why cannot you be the same here in India?
Once in an interview, the famous Ex-municipal commissioner of Bombay, Mr.Tinaikar, had a point to make.
'Rich people's dogs are walked on the streets to leave their affluent droppings all over the place,' he said. 'And then the same people turn around to criticize and blame the authorities for inefficiency and dirty pavements.
What do they expect the officers to do? Go down with a broom every time their dog Feels the pressure in his bowels?
In America every dog owner has to clean up after his pet has done the job.
Same in Japan . Will the Indian citizen do that here?' He'sb right.
We go to the polls to choose a government and after that forfeit all responsibility.
We sit back wanting to be pampered and expect the government to do everything for us whilst our contribution is totally negative.
We expect the government to clean up but we are not going to stop chucking garbage all over the place nor are we going to stop to pick a up a stray piece of paper and throw it in the
bin.
We expect the railways to provide clean bathrooms but we are not going to learn the proper use of bathrooms.
We want Indian Airlines and Air India to provide the best of food and toiletries but we are not going to stop pilfering at the least opportunity.
This applies even to the staff who is known not to pass on the service to the public.
When it comes to burning social issues like those related to women, dowry, girl child! and others, we make loud drawing room protestations and continue to do the reverse at home.
Our excuse?
'It's the whole system which has to change, how will it matter if I alone forego my sons' rights to a dowry.' So who's going to change the system?? What does a system consist of ? Very conveniently for us it consists of our neighbours, other households, other cities, other
communities and the government.
But definitely not me and YOU.
When it comes to us actually making a positive contribution to the system we lock ourselves along with our families into a safe cocoon and look into the distance at countries far away and wait for a Mr.Clean to come along & work miracles
for us with a majestic sweep of his hand or we leave the country and run away. Like lazy cowards hounded by our fears we run to America to bask in their glory and praise their system.
When New York becomes insecure we run to England.
When England experiences unemployment, we take the next flight out to the Gulf.
When the Gulf is war struck, we demand to be rescued and brought home by the Indian government.
Everybody is out to abuse and rape the country.
Nobody thinks of feeding the system. Our conscience is mortgaged to money.
Dear Indians, The article is highly thought inductive, calls for a great deal of introspection and pricks one's conscience too.... I am echoing J. F. Kennedy's words to his fellow Americans to relate to Indians.....
'ASK WHAT WE CAN DO FOR INDIA AND DO WHAT HAS TO BE DONE TO MAKE INDIA WHAT AMERICA
AND OTHER WESTERN COUNTRIES ARE TODAY'
Lets do what India needs from us.
Forward this mail to each Indian for a change instead of sending some Jokes or non-sense junk mails.
Thank you,
Dr. Abdul Kalaam
(PRESIDENT OF INDIA)
"Trust in Allah but tether your camel
first."
This saying comes from a
small story. A master was traveling with
one of his disciples. The disciple was in
charge of taking care of the camel. They
came in the night, tired, to a
caravanserai. It was the disciple's duty
to tether the camel; he didn't bother
about it, he left the camel outside.
Instead of that he simply prayed. He said
to God, "Take care of the camel," and fell
asleep.
In the morning the camel was
gone--stolen or moved away, or whatsoever
happened. The master asked, "What happened
to the camel? Where is the camel?" And the
disciple said, "I don't know. You ask God,
because I had told Allah to take care of
the camel, and I was too tired, so I don't
know. And I am not responsible either,
because I had told Him, and very clearly!
There was no missing the point. Not only
once in fact, I told Him thrice. And you
go on teaching 'Trust Allah,' so I
trusted. Now don't look at me with anger."
The master said, "Trust in
Allah but tether your camel first--because
Allah has no other hands than yours." If
He wants to tether the camel He will have
to use somebody's hands; He has no other
hands. And it is your camel! The best way
and the easiest and the shortest way is to
use your hands. Trust Allah--don't trust
only your hands, otherwise you will become
tense. Tether the camel and then trust
Allah."
You will ask, "Then why
trust Allah if you are tethering the
camel?"--because a tethered camel can also
be stolen. You do whatsoever you can do:
that does not make the result certain,
there is no guarantee. So you do
whatsoever you can, and then whatsoever
happens, accept it.
This is the meaning of
tether the camel: do whatever is possible
for you to do, don't shirk your
responsibility, and then if nothing
happens or something goes wrong, trust
Allah. Then He knows best. Then maybe it
is right for us to travel without the
camel. It is very easy to trust Allah and
be lazy. It is very easy not to trust
Allah and be a doer. The third type of man
is difficult--to trust Allah and yet
remain a doer. But now you are only
instrumental; God is the real doer, you
are just instruments in His hands.
Have a nice day.
Subject: best life possible
If you wish to live your best life possible and who wouldn't? There are several simple steps you can take to make it materialize.
Tip #1: Put Yourself First
Putting yourself first may sound selfish on the surface. In reality, it is not selfish at all. Putting yourself first does not mean you do not care about others. In addition, it does not mean that you hurt others in order to achieve your goals. Rather, it means that you do not allow others to selfishly interfere with your goals and with your priorities. If you hope to live your best life, you need to make your dreams and goals a priority. The more you allow yourself to be separated from that goal and the path toward the goal, the less likely you will be to achieve it.
Tip #2: Don't Give Up
Along the path toward achieving the life you have always wanted, you will inevitably run into some roadblocks. This doesn't mean you turn around and go back home. Rather, look for a way to work around that roadblock or to use it to your advantage. Never focus on the obstacles in your way allowing all of your attention to be drawn to a problem is really just your self-critical voice speaking to you out of fear. Continue focusing on your desired outcomes and working toward your goals.
Tip #3: Learn From Others
Everyone around you provides you with a learning experience. Watch them and learn from them. By being observant and open, you can learn what to do and what to avoid in order to achieve your desired outcomes.
Tip #4: Work from Your Strengths
No one can do everything. We all have our strengths and weaknesses. Don't waste your time and energy beating yourself down, worrying about the things you don't do well. Instead, recognize your strengths, take full advantage of them, and ask others who have counterbalanced strengths to do the things that you don't do well.
Tip #5: Follow Your Passion and be Happy Now.
Perhaps the most important thing you can do in this life is to follow your passion. But don't make your happiness conditional on achieving your goals. Be happy now, no matter what the outcome. With this attitude, you will not lose motivation for your goals, but instead, will gain increased clarity, energy and desire to achieve them.
PP madam : very useful & practical

Awareness comes through
sensitivity.
We have to be more
sensitive, (should be aware and not think)
whatsoever we do, so that even a trivial
thing like drinking tea...
Can we find anything more
trivial than drinking tea?
Can we find anything more
ordinary than drinking tea?
No, we cannot--and Zen
monks and masters have raised this most
ordinary thing into the most
extraordinary.
They have bridged "this"
and "that"... as if drinking tea and God
have become one.
Unless drinking tea
becomes divine we will not be divine,
because the least has to be raised to the
most, the ordinary has to be raised to the
extraordinary, the earth has to be made
heaven.
They have to be bridged,
no gap should be left.
Have a nice day.
[tscii] Enlightenment is a simple realization that everything is as it should be.
Everything is as it should be, everything is utterly perfect as it is.
That feeling...and we are suddenly at home.
Nothing is being missed.
We are part, an organic part of this tremendous, beautiful whole.
We are relaxed in it, surrendered in it.
We donīt exist separately ― all separation has disappeared.
A great rejoicing happens, because with the ego disappearing there is no worry left, with the ego disappearing there is no anguish left, with the ego disappearing there is no possibility of death any more.
This is what enlightenment is.
It is the understanding that all is good, that all is beautiful ― and it is beautiful as it is.
Everything is in tremendous harmony, in accord.
Have a nice day
