The earlydays veNNai-voiced KJY is so lovable in this song, and the tune is addictive. Not to mention the lyrics! Apparently PS was supposed to sing, but she was so impressed with Swarna that she requested VK to keep the track version.

I somehow get reminded of 'neela nayanangalil' (the overall style) when I hear this song.

I only know that Muthuraman stars in the movie. Story, picturisation?

No song by SV in Uyira Maanama or for that matter Panamaa Paasama. She has another song in Thanga Surangam. She will sing when she realises that her son Shivaji, the CBI officer is up against his own father OAK Thevar. I don't remember the song now.
