passive..passive..passive all the way!!!
when i grow up....
i want to be happy to be me...
a happyness that is strong enough to withstand all the sadness
sadnesses humble enough to know what is out of my hands
hands loving enough to work for those who have nurtured me
me a kaleidoscope of rich experiences of delights and regrets
regrets that are prudent not burdens that i cannot let go of
of all this...there is no one to ask of but myself
myself and no one else
else there be a hope too blinding
blinding and binding to an illusion
illusion....how immense your hold
hold up your mayaite promises
promise?
Paradoxes!
can a smile as wide as yours
as opening and friendly
as sweet
really conceal so much
of what you never felt
but i did?
can your manner be so welcoming
so familiar and considerate
so thoughtful
yet seem to hide
everything that wasn't there
but i saw?
did your heart swirl and spiral
with plunging dips and bouyant lifts
pattering to every syllable that we spoke
or was i just hearing mine?
can your words say only what they say
nothing more?
nothing to become more?
nothing at all
of what all i thought?
Stripping to the core!!!
Thank you all for your comments especially PP Maam for your consistent encouragement :)
Does only turmoil
heed the call
of the word
the very word
that struggles
to convey what is
surely felt
in myriad ways
yet flails
failing
in telling
you what
turmoil that is...
I've just seen this thread!  I simply love them. These are my favourites! :D

a tear swam into the ocean
yet was startled by all the salt
simpering:
"silly tear leave us be
you will only soothe
the wounds we wash upon
you will only stem the stings..."
she whimpered back:
"yet i too have been cried
with a sorrow i cannot but implore
i must seek who i was meant for"
and so she floated
and unwittingly
naive and unwillingly
into a distressed
child's eyes
at once
a balm
at once
the child she did calm
for she was spilled
from a will
that asked for a bliss
that was long gone....
and sorely missed.
a drop suspended
shimmers
its fall soothingly
splashed
a petal's blush
its thirst
at once
replenished
a bud nods
seeking
how it wants
what it knows not
