Pudhupettai, completed at last!!
April 15, 2006
Dhanush & Sneha
For Producers Laksmi Movie Makers, it was a sigh of relief. The Dhanush starrer Pudhupaettai is at last completed with the breaking of Poosanikai. Though Director Selvaraghavan wanted to re-shoot this or that again, producers said it was enough. Post production work is going on now. Normally, a movie is completed in three schedules of shooting. However, they put a period to Pudhupaettai just after two schedules. Work was dragging and the producers had lost their patience. Meanwhile, the second schedule of shooting of Dhanush’s Thiruvilaiyaadal has kicked off in Chennai. Initially, a few months back they shot some scenes and a song sequence associated with Dhanush and Prakashraj. Guess what, they are yet to finalize the heroine for Thiruvilaiyaadal!
when is dhanush's PP releasing?
`Thiruvilayadil` on Dec 15th !

Dhanush-Shriya long in production Thiruvilayadil Aarambham is atlast releasing this Friday(Dec 15th).
The film is directed by Bhoopathy Pandian, who last did Dhanush's Devathaye Kandein and is produced by his sister Dr Vimala Geetha under his home banner R.K productions.
The film is said to be a racy masala entertainer with all essential ingredients. An old Rajnikanth hit number from Mr Bharath, the popular number Yenamma Kannu.. has been remixed by Music director D. Imman and picturised on the lead pair.
The controversy of using the old titles of Sivaji Ganesan classics has also caused resentment among the late thespians fans who have protested against it.
But undoubtedly the highlight of the film is going to be the Dhanush- Shriya pairing, which was done much before the launch of Sivaji. Now there is a lot of curiousty among the audience to see the superstar's heroine.
Dhanush needs a hit if he has to stay afloat. So all eyes are on Thiruvilayadil Aarambham. Meanwhile everybody was surprised when the film managed to get a clean "U" certificate !
