Despite the mass appeal of Kanaa Kaanum Kaalangal, its director Raja managed to get only 35% of the votes.
Thiruselvam, director of Kolangal, found favour with 41% of the participants.

The first channel to be knocked out was Jaya TV which did not even receive a single vote! Wonder who is the punniyavaan who proposed this channel. :roll:
The second to go was Kalaingar TV, which received 11%; which is not bad considering that it is relatvely a new channel.
Makkal TV also received 11% votes. Again a TV channel that is totally non cinema related garnering this much of support is noteworthy.
So, finally the battle is between global TV channel, Sun TV and its competitor Vijay TV.
Who will emerge victorious?

Vijay TV received a whopping 61% or nearly two thirds of the votes to win this category.
Its closest rival Sun TV only managed 15% of the votes.

I used to like SUN a lot, but now a days it gives more than emough importance to serials and brainwashing the house wives, even for offices goers also if thay just switch on tv at any time, they come accross with any serial other than 7:00 News. very bad. torturing ppl with useless serials, though all serials do not fall under the same category it's a seer waste of time.
They could telecast atleast some entertaining program
